Working in partnership with the Northeast Tennessee/Virginia HOME Consortium, which is comprised of local governments from the City of Bristol, Virginia, as well as other counties and cities in Northeast Tennessee, the People Incorporated Housing Group has undertaken a project to purchase and rehabilitate existing homes in the city of Bristol, Virginia. Using NET/VA HOME Funds, PIHG has created units of housing for both rental and homeownership clients. In addition, some rehabilitated units serve as permanent supportive housing, an agency response to chronic homelessness in the Bristol, Virginia area.
