People Incorporated is now hiring crew members for our Weatherization program based in Abingdon. Crew members work a four-day, 10 hour schedule with pay that begins at $15/hour with a raise offered after the successful completion of training. People Incorporated offers 15 annual paid holidays, additional paid time off, health insurance and retirement benefits.

Our Weatherization program helps eligible families save money on heating and cooling bills by reducing the amount of energy used in their homes. After an energy audit, Weatherization Crew Members provide services like installing insulation, reducing air leakage, tuning up and repairing heating and cooling systems and replacing lighting with energy-efficient bulbs. Training is provided on the job. Applicants with a good driving record and basic carpentry skills are encouraged to apply.
