When Brad Hindman decided to open an auto repair business, he had no trouble coming up with a name that embodied his vision and brand. Mission Auto Repair, located in Winchester, Virginia fulfills his dream of pairing top-of-the-line auto repair with a desire to elevate the lives of his family, employees, and community.
“I sought to build a business that was different, where you have people who are kind and warm, you have a clean office, clean bathrooms, coffee and Wi-Fi and great communication to keep customers informed through the whole repair process,” said Brad. “I want people to leave knowing that their car was fixed right by professionals. That’s what drew me to start my own company.”

With the help of People Incorporated, Brad was able to secure a loan to purchase the real estate necessary to open Mission Auto Repair.
“I needed additional financing to make this thing happen, and People Inc. was there to help. There was paperwork to fill out and a process for internal and external approval, but they talked me through all of it.”

People Inc.’s commitment to building and supporting the community aligns perfectly with Brad’s desire to utilize his business to provide a good and fair living for his employees and their families and help individuals in the local community.

His advice for anyone thinking of opening their own business is to provide a needed service but do it in a better way so that you can stand apart. “Work hard, be prepared to sacrifice, work with integrity, and surround yourself with a great support system,” he said.
