First Steps

First Steps provides parent education and health-focused home visits to Medicaid-eligible families with young children and pregnant women.

Children up to age 5 are eligible to enroll in the program.

First Steps is available to eligible families in the following locations in Virginia:

Buchanan County
Dickenson County
Russell County
Washington County
