Amber Hagan is the Director of Accounting who oversees internal finances at People Incorporated of Virginia. Hagan brings over six years’ experience in the non-profit industry to the agency.
Prior to her employment with People Inc., Hagan was a liaison of the VA Rent Relief Program and lead representative of Moving to Work initiative in the public housing sector.
As the Director of Accounting, she oversees daily internal control functions, ensures compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, reviews account reconciliations, and oversees financial statement preparation for the agency. Hagan is proud to be a part of an organization that provides a variety of supportive services for the community.
Hagan holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from King University and a Master’s in Business Administration from the same institution. In her spare time, she enjoys being in nature, traveling, and volunteering.
