Stephanie Lillard is the Director of Community Economic Development at People Incorporated of Virginia. Lillard brings nearly 20 years of experience in business lending and community and economic development to the role.
Lillard previously worked as a Business Development Manager for People Incorporated from 2009 to 2013. Her other professional experiences include Business Retention & Expansion Manager for Shenandoah County and Development Specialist for the Virginia Tourism Corporation. She also utilizes her expertise to volunteer on multiple boards, such as the Page County Economic Development Authority and the Luray Page County Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center. She has served the Town of Luray as a councilmember since 2021.
Lillard is excited to make a difference in lives and communities through the department’s work. In her role as a senior executive, she leads the team in community economic development and works towards increasing outreach, awareness, service, and funding for clients.
Lillard is a lifelong resident of Luray and resides there with her husband, Brian, and their two teenage daughters.
