People Incorporated recently hosted an event at the Washington County Fairgrounds celebrating the agency’s 60th anniversary. Over 600 attendees celebrating at the event were treated to free food, family-friendly games, and a fireworks show.
“We’re celebrating our 60th anniversary, which is really a culmination of a lot of history and a huge legacy for us, you know, growing from a very small grassroots organization to where now we cover 17 counties and cities in the state and have over 300 employees,” Phipps said. “It’s given us an opportunity to remember our history a little bit but also to celebrate and get ready for what’s to come.”
