For the first time this year, the People Incorporated Communications Committee presented three staff members with the Goldsmith Award at the agency’s regional All Staff Meetings. Named after People Inc.’s longtime President and CEO Rob Goldsmith, this award symbolizes a staff member who embodies the mission, vision, and Core Values of People Inc. Chrissy Anglin is an Intake Specialist for the agency’s Virginia CARES program. In her role, she works with formerly incarcerated individuals to help connect them to the services offered by the program. Staff members said of her, “Chrissy has changed lives with her thoughtfulness and her follow up to every client and their needs. She calls them and listens with an attentive ear to make sure that they understand that they have someone in their corner that gives hope.”
Nancy Gibson supports the agency’s Workforce Development department in her role as Program Client Tracking Performance Analyst. Nancy’s coworkers say of her, “Her passion and commitment to our mission are truly inspiring. Through her dedicated efforts, countless individuals have been able to access education, employment, and personal growth opportunities that they may not have otherwise had.”
Jamie Gross is the Housing Counseling Coordinator for People Inc. She works to help first-time homeowners navigate the homeownership process. Jamie’s coworkers say of her, “What Jamie does with clients is more than just helping them get a house. She helps them gain confidence, hope, and truly and good future.”
