Rachel Fogg is the Director of Communications at People Incorporated of Virginia. She has nearly 10 years of experience in marketing and communications in the government, higher education, and nonprofit sectors.
As Director of Communications, Fogg manages all internal and external communications initiatives for the Community Action Agency with a staff of 270+ that serves 16 cities and counties in Virginia with over 30 programs and services. In her three years at People Incorporated, Fogg has increased the agency’s social media presence, managed relationships across four target media markets, built and launched a staff intranet and new website for the agency. She has also developed and implemented a rebrand initiative for the organization, redeveloped two regional staff conferences, and planned and executed multiple public events to raise awareness and promote the mission of the organization.
Prior to her role as Director of Communications, Fogg served as the Public Information Officer for People Incorporated. Her previous experience focused on marketing and communications focused on Veterans in both state government and higher education.
Fogg is pursuing a master’s degree in communications from the Virginia Commonwealth University and holds a bachelor’s degree from Emory & Henry College. She is an “Army brat” now happy to call the mountains of southwest Virginia home.
